What does a used container cost?
Prices for used containers vary depending on type, size, year of manufacture, equipment and condition. The specific individual offer is always binding. As a guide, the current net price ranges are as follows:
- Office containers: €2,100 to €3,800
- Sanitary containers: €2,900 to €5,000 (WC containers from €2,900, shower containers from €3,200)
- Black-and-white containers: €4,500
- Storage containers: €1,650 to €2,100
In addition, there are distance-based delivery costs and a flat crane fee of €69 plus VAT per container.
What condition are the containers in?
Our containers come from our own rental fleet. They are fully functional and technically inspected (electrics and plumbing), but show visible signs of use. As the range of available containers is constantly changing, please refer to the respective offer for exact specifications.
Can I view the container before purchase?
An on-site viewing is not possible for logistical reasons. To ensure maximum transparency nonetheless, we provide informative photos as well as detailed product information for each container in the shop. If you have any further questions about a container's condition or equipment, please feel free to ask via our inquiry form.
Are sizes other than 20 feet also available?
Our core range consists of the 20-foot standard container size. The availability of special sizes such as 10-foot or extra-wide variants (3 metres) depends on current stock returns.
Do I need a building permit for a container?
In most cases, official approval is required for setting up containers (depending on the standing time and state building regulations). It is your responsibility as the client to obtain all official and legal requirements or approvals.
What foundation is required for installation?
A stable, level surface is required for secure footing. Often, point or strip foundations (e.g. made from concrete or paving slabs) at the container corners are sufficient to transfer the loads. A full-surface concrete slab is generally not essential. We are happy to advise you on load requirements.
How quickly are the containers available?
A major advantage of buying used is fast availability. Our used containers are in stock and can be delivered to your location at short notice once the transport date has been arranged.
